Tomorrow my grandmother and aunt are going back to Belgium from Incheon airport, so we all went to my aunt's place in Suwon today. It took us about 7 hrs to get there, including several long stops for feeding me ;-)

This is my Chinese grandmother, who came from Belgium to help mummy the first weeks after I was born. She's very good at getting me to sleep in the middle of the night :-)

One week old

Today I had my first check-up at the hospital. I lost a little bit of weight the first week (which is normal) and weigh 3,450 kg now. The nurse also took some blood from my heel for testing, and I didn't even cry! Mummy and daddy were very proud of me.
At the hospital all the daddies (including mine) were holding their babies, they all seemed so proud of their offspring :-)

I'm barely 4 days old and mummy and granny are already trying out different outfits on me! They say I've got soo many clothes already, I have to hurry & wear them before I grow out of them.

After two nights in the hospital my family got to take me home! My Korean grandparents, aunt & uncle and 4 month old cousin came all the way from Seoul to welcome me home!

Introducing myself

Hi!

I'm Aram Caroline! Aram is my Korean name, my daddy chose it for me. Caroline is my western name, my mummy chose it because she thought it's a very pretty name and it was also the name of my greatgrandmother.

I was born on July 7th, 2005 weighing 3,660 kg and 54 cm long. Big, huh!

My Korean relatives all think I look like my mother, not like a Korean baby. My Belgian relatives all think I look very Asian :-)

I'll get my mummy to post pictures of me on this page regularly, so you can all see how I'm growing up!
